Pavlo Zolotavin is a researcher and entrepreneur working at the intersection of neuroengineering, materials science, and bioelectronics, with a focus on developing next-generation neural interface technologies. His work builds on foundational research conducted at Rice University, where he is a part of the NeuroEngineering Initiative and Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, contributing to the design, fabrication, and validation of ultraflexible neural interfaces for stable, long-term brain recordings and neuromodulation. At Neuralthread, he is a key contributor to the translation of ultraflexible neural electrodes into commercially accessible product for academic researchers. Combining expertise in microfabrication, electrophysiology, and systems integration, his efforts bridge academic innovation and commercialization, with an emphasis on enabling large-scale, chronic neural interfacing technologies.
